“I have been an RDA for Dr. McConnell for the past 6 years. I started working as an intern as part of my curriculum for dental assisting school. Over the years I have gained so much experience in regards to patient care. One thing that I am most thankful for is being part of this special team. I always feel supported and loved coming to work every day. We all seem to be on the same page, and can always figure out ways and areas in which we can grow and improve. With that said, another thing that I love about working for Dr. McConnell is that he is a great teacher and always encourages us to continue to learn and grow. After 6 years, I was finally accepted into the dental hygiene program. I decided to make a commitment to further my education not only because I’ve always been interested in promoting oral health to our community, but also because our office offers the best dental hygiene services in the Bay Area. Our hygienists take pride in the early detection of periodontal disease and 99.9% of those diagnosed are successfully treated in our office. My name is Courtney and I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist with Dr. McConnell for 11 years now. I have had the pleasure of being an employee and a patient of Dr. McConnell’s, as I began seeing him at age 3! Our office is very clean, contemporary, caring, safe and progressive. As a patient I had nothing but the best of experiences… so much it inspired me to become a Hygienist! I love my career and feel that an enormous part of that is due to my work environment and the people I get to work alongside daily. We work hard to support each other and provide optimal care for our patients but at the same time we are silly and have fun together… a mixture that is very important to me! This is a wonderful place to work and build long lasting relationships!
